Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator/ EHS
Our client is a dedicated supplier to the automotive industry and takes pride in their quality products and excellent customer service.
Job Description: - Your main responsibilities will be to ensure the plant's compliance with federal, state, and local environmental rules and regulations and maintenance of ISOxxxx1 certification.- responsible for planning, directing and implementing health and safety programs to help promote a safe workplace.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- You will be a motivated, communicative and work effectively and cooperatively with people.- Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Health & Safety or a related field - A minimum of 1 year of experience in environmental and health and safety experience in manufacturing, or a combination of education and experience including a minimum of three years of environmental and health and safety experience in manufacturing.- Demonstrated strong skills in problem solving and initiative skills, organizational skills, follow up skills, ability to multitask, verbal and written communication and must be computer proficient.
Having a background in ISOxxxx1 is a plus.
