Established dairy nutrition company has a need for a Dairy Nutrition Consultant Trainee to work with existing customers and prospects. In this role you will complete a 9-12 month formal training program to learn to work with large progressive herds in conjunction with a Dairy Nutritionist who feeds the lactating cows in Ohio & Michigan. Eventually you will work independently with your own customer base. Candidates can live anywhere in Ohio, Indiana or Michigan.

To be considered for this job you must have
A passion for solving problems on dairy farms
Practical experience working on a family or corporate dairy
Ability to relate to dairy producers and provide world class service
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to work with little supervision or direction
Integrity, a healthy work ethic, a passion for the producer
BS degree (or above) in an applicable field.
The ability to overnight travel is a plus, but not a requirement
